A second attempt: the first ascent of the amazing La Proa of the Roraima Tepui

In December 2010 Stefan Glowacz and Holger Heuber climbed the 600 meter high and very overhanging arête on the north face of the Roraima Tepui. It was their second try, the first one failed. Glowacz and Heuber named the route “Behind the Rainbow” in memory of long-time friend Kurt Albert.

The movie about the project, “Climber’s of the Lost World,” became a hit in cinemas and shows breathtaking film material of both expeditions to Roraima Tepui.
